2013 Greenspace Report

Waverly is a small group that did excellent and careful work on the front of the housing office, entry sign area, central medium, and 2 front yards. After some initial outreach, the Waverly Beautification Group decided that maintaining the public areas was first priority. The group first tackled the garden at the Waverly Townhouses sign, by mulching and weeding. This area was finished at the end of the summer with the addition of two butterfly bushes. After this initial upkeep, they moved on to create a garden on the sides of the path to the housing office. The group redesigned a front yard, did intensive pruning and mulching of the central memorial at the townhouses, followed with the restoration of the group leader's front yard. Front yards were seeded with grass and enclosed with perennials and shrubs.
