Summary

The Waverly Beautification Group has been hard at work for over five years at the Waverly Townhouses, located off George Street. The residents are a dynamic group of workers who have worked on frontyards, planted trees, and created community plantings, including a memorial dogwood with a plaque dedicated to victims of violence. This year work focused on maintaining perennial beds in frontyards, adding new plants, and putting in a cherry tree in a new resident's yard. Brick edging was added to many of the frontyard beds as well, giving the plantings a clean and finished look.
