URI is facilitating a community input process with an online survey, focus groups with targeted park users (Park Friends, sports, nonprofits, and more), and open community forums to inform our City’s leadership on what New Haven residents would like to see. We encourage you to participate!
At the meeting we will present our report with ideas from the focus groups, survey, and community forum, some proposed models, and with case studies featuring other cities. Next, Mayor Elicker will respond with his thoughts on the City’s plans for moving forward. Then, we will breakout into small groups to discuss initial reactions to the report and ideas presented.
