Tree Ambassador Training

Want to help get more trees planted in New Haven? Come to this brief training on how to be a Tree Ambassador to support URI’s GreenSkills tree planting program. You will receive information and tools that will empower you to recruit tree adopters who live in New Haven. URI only plants where there is a dedicated adopter who is willing to water the tree, and your help is needed to find more tree adopters. The training is free and open to people of all ages.

The CT Folk event includes live music from local acts to national headliners, delicious food trucks and a Green Expo highlighting artisan vendors, non-profits, workshops, and a jam-packed day of activities and experiences in the Green Kids Zone on Saturday, September 9, 11am-10pm. Gates open at 10:45am. The event is free for all ($20 suggested donation). URI will be tabling the first half of the day (11am-4pm). Come find us!
