Summary

This is Eld Street's second year as a URI greenspace site, and the group has put major effort into their community just within these two years. The work on the street has focused mainly on planting street trees, with a small portion of the effort also going to front yards. This summer, the group added two trees to the State Street end of the road, making a total of nineteen young trees lining Eld Street. Many have beautiful perennial beds beneath them, and together with the new sidewalks and street paving, the beautification efforts on Eld are a definite success.
