Summary

The Greenwich community group has been active in the Community Greenspace program for the past 7 years. They have been successfully planting and building community connections. The primary leader, Kris Sainsbury, is well known in the community for her work organizing activities and rallying participants. The have made tremendous progress improving curb strips, parks, and front yards over the past few years. This summer they worked on Bayview Park, Galvin Park, 2 front yards, and several curb strips, including planting two Schubert Chokecherry trees in Galvin Park and working on the street with students from the Hill Action Team.
