Summary

The community surrounding Kensington Square Park on Kensington St. between Chapel St. and Edgewood Ave. are interested in restoring and improving the park to provide a playground for the neighborhood kids. This year, Savitra Jones worked on performing outreach along the surrounding streets to gauge the community’s interest and capacity in working together to improve the park. A cherry tree was planted in front of the park as a way to kickstart the work on the park. Hopefully, with increased participation and input from the community, this work will continue next year.
