Volunteer With Us
Volunteer with a Community Greenspace
- Sign up for a specific volunteer event at a local greenspace site in New Haven.
- Sign up to volunteer to help maintain the Botanical Garden of Healing Dedicated to Victims of Gun Violence on Saturdays from 10-noon (June-July).
Become a Tree Ambassador
- Help find New Haven residents willing to adopt and care for newly planted street trees. Check out the Sign up Genius for special Tree Ambassador events.

Find a Site Near You
- Explore the Greenspace Map to locate the site closest to your home. These groups work weekly throughout June and July and some work year-round. Check out the Sign up Genius to find the times when your local group meets to improve your nearest site.
Support Your Neighborhood
- Join or host a Litter Clean-up event with the City of New Haven.
- Live near a curbside bioswale? Help keep it clean and functioning.
