Winter Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteer with Community Greenspace groups working throughout the city in January. Most winter volunteer activities involve removing invasive vines and other plants to allow native trees and plants to grow and thrive. Wear layers and bring drinking water, because it can get warmer as you move through the activities. It is helpful to bring protective gloves and tools, but they will be provided, if needed.  

On January 20, we’ll host a Tree Ambassador event to go doorknocking in Fair Haven letting people know they can request free street trees for their homes and businesses.
