New Haven students’ tribute to former teacher roots her legacy at the school forever

East Rock Community Magnet School honored one of their former beloved teachers, Mrs. Norine Polio, by unveiling new trees planted on their school grounds in memorial of her. Urban Resources Initiative planted this cluster of trees, called “Polio’s Place.”
