Summary

The Fairlawn Gardeners of Blake Street, Whalley Avenue, and the E. T. Grasso Boulevard have just finished their second year as a Greenspace group. Every Saturday the group came out to plant trees, shrubs, and perennials along the street and in front yards. The main focus this summer was outreach, and toward that end, the group was very successful. Many new neighbors, both young and old, joined in the effort to beautify the neighborhood. Take a drive down Blake Street and notice all of the new trees planted with care and love this summer!
