Your gift will help URI to green the Elm City and address environmental inequities. 

URI has two main programs that need your support. Our Community Greenspace enables local volunteer groups to revitalize their streetscape, vacant lot, and/or park.  Through this program, we partner with over 40 grassroots groups and hundreds of volunteers to support community-based greening.  

Our GreenSkills program plants free street trees for New Haven  residents who request and water them ensuring their survival. This program also provides paid green job-training for local high school students and adults who have a history that includes incarceration.
