Summary
2012 marks the third year that the Fair Haven Neighbors in Action have been working on the streetscape in the section of Fair Haven bounded by Ferry, Saltonstall, Blatchley and Exchange. This year, the group continued its work planting street trees and perennials, bringing much needed shade and color to their streets and adding beauty and intrigue with flowering plants. The group also conquered another concrete removal project, building a new tree pit where formerly only cement existed. Together the group planted 8 trees- 4 tall shade trees and 4 flowering specimens, including 2 Kwanzan cherry trees, a crabapple and a purple leaf plum.
Other activity
I tree pit constructed by breaking and removing concrete.
