Summary

The Believe In Me community greenspace group came together this year to transform Argyle Street from a neglected, treeless corner of southern Newhallville to a beautiful and inviting gem of a street, well cared for and lined with flowering trees - a symbol of the Believe In Me Empowerment Corporation's vision to revitalize the community, someplace the whole neighborhood could be proud of. And that is what in the span of one summer they achieved. By planting an astounding 18 trees in their first year, the Believe In Me group transformed Dixwell and Argyle in dramatic fashion. Already, passersby from neighboring streets want to know how they can bring similar changes to their block. Thanks to their vision, determination, and strong organization, the Believe In Me community greenspace group is leading the way to a more beautiful and verdant future for the streets of southern Newhallville.
