Summary

The group affectionately known as “Mulberry Jam” had a hugely successful summer filled with stewardship and lots of planting. It was important to the group to continue to make progress at the site despite still waiting for approval to begin the major infrastructure project that will transform the area into a proper pocket park. Over several workdays, volunteers were able to get 28 new plants in the ground! The group is especially excited about the series of evergreen shrubs and vines that were planted along the chain link fence at the back of the property.
