Summary

Mulberry Jam is a creative and dynamic space in downtown New Haven. Previously an abandoned vacant lot pinned in by a DOT chain link fence, the site is now an inviting public space filled with plants and unique stone benches. The group worked this summer to plant new shade-loving plants along the back of the space. The remaining surface area used to be rocky, exposed soil. The surface is now nicely covered with pea stone, which the group worked to spread this summer—all 20 tons of it!
