Summary
This is the 5th year that volunteers from Bradley Street have participated in the Greenspace program. Led by Michael Smart, a New Haven Alderman, many community members worked throughout the summer to improve this six foot wide open space that runs between Bradley Street and an interstate retaining wall. This year the group planted three new Kwanzan Cherry trees on Lyon Street and performed maintenance on this greenspace. The Bradley Greenspace group also added new plants, including hostas, under several trees on Bradley Street, Lyon Street, and William Street.
