Summary

The Bradley & Wooster group focused most of its effort towards turning a curb strip, that was a former dumping site, into a beautiful greenspace lined with an array of vegetation. The group was under the leadership of Michael Smart, who had the idea to revitalize curb strips along William, Bradley and Lyon St to improve the aesthetic value in his neighborhood. Due to the high density of mature London Plane trees, the initial workdays focused on raking fallen leaves and weeding. Once the group started planting there was no stopping them; they had an unwavering motivation to plant in every vacant space along this strip. There were several work days dedicated to replanting abandoned tree pits. The determination of this group was so high that it was a regular occurrence for them to work several times a week.
