Summary
Cedar Hill is a small, traditionally emeritus group. The group's outreach efforts were able to attract at least one new, eager member. The initial tasks of stewardship included a small restoration of the entrance to the playground with hostas and daylilies, while most of the rest of the summer was devoted to maintaining two medians - one at View and Rock streets, and another at Rock and Grace streets. There was a final cleanup of the community garden at Warren Place and Cedar Hill Avenue, which had somehow been hit with an assault of asphalt and had been serving as a oil-changing station for automobiles. Finally, after surmounting these obstacles, the group transplanted some dense yuccas to neighbors and participants' yards. The group's leaders did a strong job of leadership in a community with little participation. However, the community still showed great moral support for their initiatives.
