Summary
Cedar Hill is an emeritus group that focuses on stewardship activities throughout the neighborhood. “Betty’s Medium,” a small island in the middle of Rock Street near the entrance into East Rock Park features a beautiful perennial garden planted in years past. A corner garden where Rock and Grace Streets intersect features more perennials planted by the Cedar Hill group. A third garden at the end of Cedar Hill Avenue also displays vibrant perennials for the community to enjoy. This summer involved the stewardship of these three sites, along with pruning trees along Ridge Street.
