Summary
This year in Cedar Hill was another successful period of stewardship and cleanup. Led by Betty Thompson and Kenya Martin, who are passionate and popular long-time residents of Ridge Street, we were able to add to and maintain a few of the nice green spaces around the neighborhood. Our goals for this summer included cleaning up the 219 garden, and setting out planters that Betty acquired on a grant from the city. Due to steady participation and easy organization we met our goals handily and added a few perennials, laid down some mulch, and pull weeds around Cedar Hill. Our focuses this year were the 219 Garden, the corner garden, and Bettys Median, all of which are well taken care-of by the Greenspace volunteers!
