Summary
Mrs. Betty Thompson has long been a force in New Haven, and her daughter Kenya has proven the same. They are key constituents of the Cedar Hill emeritus group still actively stewarding three sites in the neighborhood. This summer, we weeded up Betty’s island and Rebecca’s tree in Rice Field. After weeding, we applied plenty of mulch to ensure our hard work would persist. We worked steadily and with plenty of conversations and laughs, and welcomed all the rain this season. This family’s fierce and warm spirit has given much to the Cedar Hill neighborhood!
