Summary
The Pardee Seawall Park runs along Townsend Ave in the East Shore neighborhood. The park overlooks the New Haven Harbor and the Long Island Sound. There is a dedicated group of neighbors have worked on greening this park as well as the surrounding streetscapes. In previous years, the group has focused on planting street trees throughout the neighborhood. This year, the volunteers worked on maintaining and stewarding the park area as well as replacing a neighbor’s tree that had been donated to the park for use as a Christmas tree.
