Summary
This was the first year for the Fair Haven Neighbors in Action group. The group of neighbors, primarily living near Saltonstall and Blatchley, brought some new life to their streetscape through the planting of trees and perennial beds along Saltonstall Street. The group planted 7 flowering trees under their power lines this summer, and a whopping 133 perennials to bring some color and fragrance to the neighborhood. A large number of households contributed to the plantings, and they hope to involve more neighbors next summer.
