Summary
Fort Wooster Park is a large natural area with a rich history and natural environment located in the Annex. The park, which contains multiple open fields and wooded areas, is also covered in English ivy and knotweed, along with several other invasive species. Managing the growth of these invasive species and improving the character of the park have been long-time goals of the Fort Wooster group. Over the past few years, the group has created a wildflower meadow at the forest's edge, planted new trees in a former knotweed patch, and built a new inviting garden at the park’s entrance.
