Summary
This summer, a group of dedicated volunteers convened to reimagine the traffic circle on Sea Street. The circle, once overgrown with weeds and home to only a few neglected evergreen shrubs, was transformed under this group’s stewardship into a beautiful garden that is inviting to both passing motorists and pollinators alike. After spending the first few weeks of the summer mulching and weeding in preparation for the new plants, the group spent the rest of the season planting over 100 flowering perennials, bringing exciting new colors and textures to the streetscape.
