Summary

2017 marked the 7th year that Friends of Griswold Park has been a part of the Greenspace program. Griswold Triangle serves as a colorful getaway in the Fair Haven Annex neighborhood, boasting many species of plants, shrubs, and perennials. The group consists of three core members, Marge and Dwight Ottenbreit, and Bill Goodale. Over the last few years the group has achieved its planting goals and this season the group was promoted to Emeritus status in the Greenspace program. The group waters the plants and maintains the park daily throughout the summer. This season the group focused its efforts on weeding flowerbeds, improving stone dust pathways within the triangle, restaking trees planted in previous years, and overall maintenance of the space.
