Summary

In its second year Mariposas del Mundo (previously Hemingway Butterfly Garden) has continue to grow with 3 native trees planted along the creekside to help reclaim the space from the invasive Japanese Knotweed and 3 spicebushes planted along the borders to help provide food for the spicebush swallowtail butterfly. This year the volunteers also added a beautiful monarch information sign, new stone dust pathways and a picnic table. There have also been some wonderful new faces at volunteer days that have been critical to watering all of the new trees and improving the space.
