Summary

The Ivy Narrow site has been an active part of the Community Greenspace program since 2000. Having completed its main goals, the group joined the Emeritus part of the Greenspace program. The garden, aimed at attracting birds and butterflies, has a diverse and attractive variety of plants and a pond complete with water lilies and fish. This summer the pond even had a visiting snapping turtle! The Thomas family has taken the lead on stewardship responsibility for the site. This year the group planted some bright, flowering perennials around the pond and accented the pea gravel pathways with bluestone stepping stones.

Other activity

1 yard pea gravel, .5 yards river rock, several pieces of bluestone
