Summary
With an impressive consistency of participation, the West River group accomplished all of their goals for Monitor Square Park this summer. Six of the 13 trees planted were inside the park, which will provide much needed shade for the attendees of community events that the site will host into the future. The group continues to pursue its greater goal for the beautification of the West River neighborhood as a partnership of diverse, dedicated neighbors through additional street tree plantings and plantings in public spaces.
