Summary
Monitor Square Park is a sunny, tree-lined park in the West River neighborhood, and it is a popular spot for people to walk their dogs and get some fresh air. John and Robin continued their dedicated stewardship of Monitor Square Park this summer by weeding, mulching, and watering the trees and perennial beds every week. The group was successful in their planting goals as well, planting a purple crabapple tree in the park and a lovely assemblage of perennials around the base of the statue in the center of the park. This is a longstanding group and they’ve truly transformed the park over their many years of restoration and stewardship!
