Summary

The Newhall and Division group is a bunch of all-star tree planters and community volunteers. The group embodies the Greenspace spirit. Every Tuesday evening the group was eager to get started, with an average group size of 7 people - most of whom came every single week, all summer long. This year the group did a particularly great job of engaging previous Greenspace participants in addition to adding new members to the group. Originally started in 1997, the group has gone back and forth between active and emeritus status. To say the group was active in 2015 would be an understatement. This summer the group planted 12 trees and remediated the lead in 2 front yards in addition to stewarding the yards and curb strips of previous year’s work. This is a dedicated group that will continue to do great work for Newhallville.

Other activity

2 lead front yards. Stewarded yards of previous year's volunteers.
