Summary
The Quinnipiac Heights Action Team is no ordinary Greenspace “site.” Spawned during the pandemic, the group is dedicated to picking up trash all over Fair Haven Heights. No trees were planted, no shrubs were watered, but water bottles were picked up, and so were cigarette butts, needles, chip bags, and much more. It isn’t glamorous work, but it’s inspiring nonetheless. After a hot day of work, it was rewarding to turn around and see all the trash gone. And if the trash comes back, you can bet we will too.
