Summary

Upper State Street is an incredibly active group of neighbors and local business owners looking to improve the State Street neighborhood north of Humphrey Street. This year the group focused on the area around Lawrence Street. They planted 5 alternating Linden and Red Maple trees along 1040 State, 3 Red Maples and 2 Tree Lilacs on Mill River Street, and 2 American Elms by Subway. Additionally, they designed small plantings for the triangle dog park, the entrance to the Upper State Street farmer's market, and Maximum Auto Body on the corner of State and Mill River Street.
