Summary

West River Neighborhood was a new Greenspace group this year. The group focused on beautifying tree beds around the 730 George St. apartment complex by planting a variety of flowering perennials at the base of 7 young trees. Children from the building also participated by planting a flowering evergreen cover around shrubs in two existing planters in the curbstrip near the building entrance. The group topped off the season by planting two flowering trees in front of a home on the block.
