Summary
The City Point group began their work in 1999 turning a triangle lot at the corner of Sea St. and South Water St. into Triangle Park, a beautiful open space that looks out onto the water. The group began this year doing maintenance at Triangle Park, sprucing it up by weeding and mulching in time for the annual outdoor Jazz BBQ. The group moved on to plant evergreen trees along the fence at Bayview Park in order to create a natural barrier to block out noise and fumes from the highway. The group finished up the summer by doing maintenance on their plantings at the beach at the southern most end of Howard Avenue.
