Summary
Blockwatch 303 is one of the longest-standing Greenspace groups around. The group manages the yard around the Mitchell Branch Library (Beecher Park) and the smattering of flowerbeds that circle the area (which include the shade garden, library courtyard area, hosta flowerbed adjoining the fence of the neighboring yard, and two large flowerbeds near the front of the library). They are without a doubt some of the most dedicated volunteers in New Haven with a long track record of success. This summer they continued site maintenance with consistent mulching and filled a hole in the ground by the back of the library with topsoil. Thanks to all their work, Beecher Park hosted the community bus tour’s dinner this year!
