Summary
This was the first season for the Monroe Street community group, and it was a smashing success. High levels of volunteer participation, commitment, and energy enabled the group to plant 5 street trees, tidy several curb strip areas along Monroe, and restore the park space at the intersection of Alton and Monroe. In the process, the group cultivated camaraderie and friendship among its members.
