Summary
Dover Beach Park on Front Street underwent a lot of change this summer, with a new sea wall in place and playground equipment on the way. Additionally, the Friends of Dover Beach Park planted 6 trees, adding some shade to the exposed site. They also spruced up the lovely butterfly garden, replaced a few dead flowers, and kept it lush with water, despite the heat. A cadre of local children participated. Any adults interested in getting involved should contact Pat Bissell.
Other activity
The butterfly garden was spruced up and watered regularly, providing a wealth of colorful flowers all summer.
