Summary
EAST EDGE GARDENERShas participated in the Greenspace program for over a decade. They have not only created beautiful greenspaces, but have also succeeded in the upkeep, stewardship, and maintenance of them. The group maintains nine planting beds along Edgewood Avenue between Norton and Hubinger Streets, and two triangle beds on either side of Pendleton Street on the north side of Edgewood Ave. The beds, facing one another at each cross-street, contain Russian sage, purple salvia, coneflowers (Echinacea), and black-eyed Susans. The Pendleton Street triangles contain daylilies, rhododendron, spirea, coreopsis, some low junipers, and grasses.
