Summary
EAST EDGE GARDENERSis a long-running Greenspace group that is responsible for 11 perennial and shrub beds along Edgewood Avenue above Edgewood Park (9 in the median itself and 2 at the Pendleton triangle). This year, they continued the work of weeding, mulching, and edging all the beds, as well as replacing some shrubs that did not survive the winter. Most of the perennial beds are well-established at this point, with dense and vivacious clumps of Russian sage, black-eyed Susans, and purple coneflowers (among other species) that bring color and life to the streetscape.
