Summary
The East Edge Gardeners had another successful summer of stewardship along the Edgewood mall. Weekly workdays were attended by a group of 4 dedicated volunteers who efficiently and competently accomplished their goals. Together, volunteers weeded and cleared debris from garden beds on Grasso Boulevard, Pendleton Street, Hobart Street, and Brownell Street. They reached their planting goals with 1 new shrub and 13 new perennials added across the Hobart and Brownell beds. This emeritus group has been dedicated to their green space for over 25 years and their hard work can be appreciated by all New Haveners who live, work, and play near Edgewood Avenue!
