Summary
The friends of Farmington Canal started late in the summer with the objective of making the areas around the bike trail cleaner and safer. The group is led by two avid bike riders who frequently use the trail going through NewHallville. This summer the group laid down 5 yards of stone dust in the running trail, mulched ten trees at the intersection of Hazel and Shelton ave, collected trash and restored a streetscape by planting perennials and seeding grass. A few of the community members joined in while the group worked around the trail.
Other activity
