Summary

City Point has been one of URI's longest active Greenspace groups. This group began by transforming a triangle lot at the corner of Sea St. and South Water St. into Triangle Park, a beautiful open space that looks out onto the water. Now the City Point group continues to take care of the space they restored by pruning, weeding, and mulching in time for the annual outdoor Jazz BBQ in July. They also are stewards of Bayview Park and a small beach at the southern most end of Howard Avenue.
