Summary
The Oyster Point greenspace group works at several locations throughout the City Point neighborhood, including Bayview Park, the Triangle Park, and the planter at the end of Howard Avenue. This summer, the group’s primary focus was on the Howard Avenue planter, where many plants had died over the winter. The group revitalized the flowerbed into a magnificent and durable showcase of hardy perennials and shrubs. After the Howard Ave planter project was completed, the group turned its attention to the Triangle park and Bayview park, pruning back bushes, defending damaged trees from mowers, and clearing an overgrown footpath. With consistent effort, we managed to make great progress in City Point, making great memories along the way.
