Summary
This is Scantlebury Park's 7th year in the program. The park serves as a locale of social activity for the Dixwell community. As a Greenspace site, the group has planted trees and shrubs to beautify the park. This year, however, the group focused on stewardship of the park. An enthusiastic and dedicated group of local community members, with help from local youth, actively trimmed, weeded, mulched and watered the existing trees throughout the park.
