Summary

This vacant lot-turned-park on Shelton Ave is a lively community gathering space, largely maintained by neighbors and volunteers who come over from Believe In Me. This park is truly a haven of joy and conversation, as each week a combination of a core group of regulars and new volunteers would share their excitement about all the improvements happening at the space and enjoy each other’s company. The group had a productive summer of planting and adding to the park’s infrastructure with a stone pathway, bricks along the fence, and a ring of bricks around the tree in the curb strip.
