Summary

The Shepard & Huntington volunteers maintain a greenspace on the corner of the two streets. The core group of volunteers consistently work to maintain the space keeping it free of trash, mowing the grass, watering, and planting. This year the group added new plants along the edges of the greenspace, reapplied a layer of stone dust to the pathway, mulched the large corner garden, added a new brick border and installed signage. The group also added a picnic table to the space to give community members a place to sit in the greenspace.
