Summary

Once again SoHu was one of the New Haven's top Greenspace tree planters. Despite delays on planned plantings due to impending construction, the group saw the force of more than 40 volunteers come together and plant 13 new trees to the streets South of Humphrey. Of these thirteen trees, ten were of different species, adding to the exciting and diverse mix of trees throughout the East Rock neighborhood. In addition to plantings, the group marched up and down the neighborhood blocks pruning, weeding, and mulching the more than 70 trees that SoHu has planted since the community first came together in 2008.
