Summary
This was the first year for the Solar Youth/Westville Manor Greenspace group. They kicked off with ambitious goals to reinforce an eroded bank by a housing block and build a garden with kids and community members from the neighborhood. Over 3 full afternoons, the group built a stone wall, planted a bed with hardy and flowering shrubs and perennials and planted a Pear tree in front of 53 Wayfarer St.
Other activity
We built a retaining wall with 66 paver blocks to slow erosion and provide a bed for planting.
